These terms apply to maisonprive.sk and to everything sold through it.

The site is operated by Maison Prive s.r.o., registered office [address], IČO [number], DIČ [number], registered in the Commercial Register of [court, section, insert number]. Contact: hello@maisonprive.sk.

1. What we sell

Digital products delivered as downloadable files (PDF and similar), and — where agreed separately in writing — bespoke digital products designed for clients. Nothing physical is shipped.

2. Placing an order

Ordering works like this: you choose a product, you are shown the price including any applicable tax, you confirm the order and pay. A contract is formed when we send your order confirmation by email. Before paying you will be asked to confirm that the files are delivered immediately and that this ends your right of withdrawal (see clause 6).

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in EUR and include VAT where it applies. Digital sales to consumers in the EU are taxed in the customer's country; the correct rate is applied at checkout. Payment is handled by our payment provider, and we never see or store your card details.

4. Delivery

Files are made available immediately after payment, by download link and by email. If a link does not work, write to hello@maisonprive.sk and we will send the files directly. Download links stay active for 30 days; after that, ask and we will resend them.

5. Licence

What you may and may not do with the files is set out in our Licence, which forms part of these terms. In short: print and use them yourself and within your household, but do not resell, share, distribute, use commercially, or use them to train automated systems.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Under EU consumer law you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Because our products are digital and delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that this ends your right of withdrawal. Once you have done so and the files have been made available, the sale is final.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or is not as described. Our full policy, including what we do when something is wrong, is on the Refunds page — in short: we fix it, and if we cannot, we refund you.

7. Using the site

You may not misuse the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorised to, copy the site's content or design, or use any part of it to train an automated or artificial-intelligence system. All content on the site — text, images, layout, products — belongs to Maison Prive s.r.o. unless stated otherwise.

8. What our content is, and is not

Our articles and products are general information and organisational tools, written from research and experience. They are not financial, legal, tax, medical or psychological advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation. Decisions you take after reading them are your own.

Where an article mentions research, it is cited so you can read the original. Statistics and figures were accurate when written and may date.

9. Liability

We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity.

10. Links to other sites

Where we link elsewhere — a book, a study, a shop — we are not responsible for that site's content, products or privacy practices.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought. The date of the current version is at the end of this document.

12. Law, complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by Slovak law, and the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

If something goes wrong, write to hello@maisonprive.sk first; we answer within 2 working days. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, and consumers in Slovakia may contact the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia) as the supervisory authority for consumer protection.
